UAB “IDAVANG” – its history began in 1999 with the establishment of its first farm, and within a few years, the company became the largest pig producer in the Baltic States. Today, “Idavang” owns 12 farms in Lithuania.
The migration was prompted by Idavang’s business growth, the emerging need to expand integration capabilities, and previous experience showing that prolonged failure to update an existing system later results in a lengthy, costly, and resource-intensive project.
When deciding to migrate, the goals were:
- to ensure that the system would not hinder business development;
- to work with the latest and technologically advanced Dynamics NAV version, leveraging the functionality available in the new version;
- prevent the system from becoming outdated to avoid costly and complex upgrade projects later.
Client feedback after migration
After migrating to Dynamics NAV 2017, users received training that thoroughly presented the new version’s functionality and capabilities. This allowed users to discover and begin using previously unused features. The migration helped accelerate internal processes, optimize invoice dispatch time, and enable sending invoices and reminders directly from the Dynamics NAV system.
