What prompted you to search for a new business management system?

I was tired of wasting time extracting data from a typical accounting program and uploading it to Excel to convert it into a format that worked for me. I wanted to see all reports in real time and in the desired format, which meant I needed to find a tool that would connect directly to the accounting data tables and simply display the data. That’s how I first discovered the Power BI business analytics tool.

What are the most important advantages of Power BI for you?

I see what I need, when I need it, in the format I need. Moreover, I receive email notifications if deviations from the norm occur, for example, if a sale is made below margin. Everything happens automatically, so I just need to check my email in the morning and I know what happened. This required integrating the tool that creates reports, i.e., Power BI, with a system from which I could retrieve all the data. That’s how I learned about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) distributed by Softera.

How do you evaluate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV)?

Many people think that only companies with very large budgets can use this system, but I can refute that, because our company does not have a large budget. It is a perfect product that I can adapt to my company’s needs. I take from the system as much as I need at this stage of my company, but I know that as the company grows, I will take more and more, and I will not need to change systems.

How has the team’s work changed after implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) and Power BI?

The work has fundamentally changed in that everyone knows how and what they are doing, and evaluating employees is particularly easy for me, i.e., I simply review the reports and see if everything is within normal limits. It is convenient to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) and Power BI, because when we meet with team members, we discuss what is relevant specifically to us, quickly create the necessary reports, and everyone sees what is important to them. I am personally 100% satisfied, because I was looking for this type of solution, I continuously prepare new Power BI reports, and gradually expand the use of the system according to the company’s growing needs.
