Woolsocks is a growing IT company developing and maintaining the Woolsocks mobile application for personal finance management. The app enables users to track where their money goes, plan daily expenses, and eliminate unnecessary spending to better optimize their finances.
At UAB Woolsocks, Softera.UNI was implemented for financial management, while Softera.PAYROLL is used for payroll and HR accounting.
We spoke with Lina Ališauskienė, Finance Specialist.
How did the need for a payroll system arise?
As a young company, we did not have a need to replace an existing system. However, based on previous experience, I already knew what kind of system I would not want to use.
I had come across presentations of Softera.PAYROLL several times, and after evaluating the options, I had formed a strong initial opinion over the years that it would be a suitable solution.
Why did Softera.PAYROLL seem like the right choice?
I really appreciated the communication from the consultants and the way the system was presented—clear, informative, and easy to understand. There were no doubts that this was the most suitable solution for our company.
Before making the final decision, I discussed it with colleagues and compared the level of service offered by different providers. Softera stood out due to the quality of communication. From the very first interaction, the consultants were responsive, helpful, and willing to collaborate—even though we are still a relatively small company. This made the decision much easier.
What changed after implementing Softera.PAYROLL?
For me personally, the biggest improvement is the reduction of errors. Previously, payroll accounting was partly managed in Excel, which made annual declarations and similar processes more complicated. I also value the well-structured reporting modules in Softera.PAYROLL, especially for reporting to public institutions.
Does Softera.PAYROLL meet your needs?
Yes, it fully meets our needs. We are still exploring all functionalities, as not all use cases have yet been applied in practice.
Would you recommend working with Softera?
Definitely yes. As mentioned, everything started with a strong first impression—smooth communication and a high level of attention. Even as a small and relatively new company, we received full support and all the necessary information.
I have been working with Softera for about half a year, and whenever issues arose, the team responded quickly, provided support, and offered guidance. I particularly appreciated that during the implementation, the assigned consultant created video recordings explaining system functionalities. These are still useful today when performing less frequent tasks. It is also important that communication continues after the system goes live—we are regularly informed about updates, both in the system and across Softera’s product portfolio.
