Integration between Dynamics 365 Business Central and the carrier's IT systems enables us to save several hours per month and ensures a more convenient process, as everything from order entry to dispatch occurs within a single system. The sales order placer enters the shipment details, which are automatically transferred to the courier's IT system to prevent data duplication. As a result, the warehouse personnel only need to prepare the order and, after printing the shipping label from Business Central, send it to the customer.

Functions of the Softera.DELIVERY solution

Creation of delivery orders

A temporary parcel document is generated in Business Central using data from the sales order and warehouse consignment notes, which includes information from the source document about the dispatcher, recipient, and the items. Additional parameters to be selected by the user: number of packages, type of parcel, parcel value etc.

Receiving tracking No. and parcel labels in PDF format to a Business Central system

Generated parcel labels are downloaded and saved next to the parcel information.
The tracking number is downloaded from the carrier’s system and saved to the parcel.

Data control

The data sent is checked on both the multisiuntos.lt and the carrier’s system.

Automatic courier call

The possibility to automate the courier calls by using the multisiuntos.lt function of automatic tasks.

Local and international carriers

Integrated with major carriers in the Baltic states such as DPD Local, Venipak, Omniva, Posti, LP Express, InPost, and Itella, as well as international carriers including DPD, FedEx, DHL, TNT, DHL Express, and Deutsche Post for faster and more accurate dispatching.
